It’s officially September and the beginning of Spring! This is an incredible time to reflect on the goals you’d set yourself to achieve this year and recommit to those goals where you might have fallen behind or off track.

1. Take your time and be more thoughtful with your job applications. Give yourself time to read the job description, update your CV to suit the company’s requirements, and do a spelling and grammar check before you submit. A thoughtful job application is always better received and can greatly improve your chances of success.
2. Do research on the company before you apply. Get to know what the company does better before submitting your application. This will also allow you to see where you can showcase more relevant work experience for the role, company and industry/sector.
